Drake hall is a prison based in staffordshire which houses adult and young female prisoners. The Prison was built in 1960, went to a semi-open prison in 2002 but reverted back to a closed female prison after new fences were installed in 2009.

To be able to book a visit at Drake Hall Prison you will need the name and DOB of the person that you are visiting along with their prison number.

Last admittance to a visit is 14:30 and you are limited to 3 visitors per session and children.

How to get to Drake Hall Prison, Directions to Drake Hall Prison:

If you are planning to visit Drake Hall Prison by train, the station you need is Stafford Station, it isnt that close you would also need to take a taxi from the station to prison which will probably set you back £15 each way.

If coming by car, from the North, M6, exit 15, take A519 to Eccleshall. The turning to Drake Hall is on the left

From the South, M6, exit 14, take A5013 to Eccleshall. On arrival in Eccleshall turn right onto A519 at ‘T’ junction and take second right (signposted Drake Hall).From the East, take A518 from Uttoxeter to Stafford. On approaching Stafford turn right at Polytechnic on A513 which passes under M6 at Junction 14 above.
