The Prisoner Location Service: Our service is for people who are trying to find a family member, relative, friend or person that you think might be in prison, This Prisoner Location Service can help you.
All that you need to do is pay the admin fee to start the process. As soon as the fee has been paid, we will compile send you the link requesting all the legal requirements in accordance with the Data Protection legislation and forward this on to the relevant HMPPS department to locate the prisoner and request the release of the details of their whereabouts.

For us to be able to offer you a Prison Location Service we need to know the following information:
• Your full name
• Your date of birth
• Your full address including postcode
• Reason for enquiry
• Full name of the person you want to contact
• Any other name/s by which they may have been known
• Their date of birth
As soon as you’ve paid the admin fee, you will be sent to the link to request the prisoners location details. Please be patient, this could take upto 40 days to get a reply from the relevant HMP department
*Terms and Conditions: The fee that you are paying to Prisonguide.co.uk is for the administration process in aiding you to Locate A Prisoner. An email request will be forwarded on your behalf by Prisonguide.co.uk to The MOJ/HMP to Locate a Prisoner. The person in custody will then be provided your request and he or she will be asked to give consent for the disclosure of their whereabouts. This will be forwarded directly to you either by mail or email. Due to this process, the enquiry may take up to 40 days to complete. Please be patient. If the prisoner refuses your request, you will be denied permission to know their location.
