What should you not do in prison
Including What Not To Do in prison, what to do is stay safe, staying safe in prison is your number one priority. The above is only an overview of what is frowned upon inside prison and what you should not do whilst in prison.
Everyone is there for the same person, obviously because of the crime that got them in there in the first place, but everyone is there to serve a sentence with the same end goal, to get out of prison. Being locked up in prison with hundreds or sometimes thousands of men is difficult. Different personalities, backgrounds and temperaments. So my advice of what not to do in prison is basically the list above. If you follow my advice then you should have less chance of getting into any issues whilst in prison.
Another ‘What Not To Do In Prison’, dont get involved with drugs! Drugs and Drug Debt is one of the biggest issues within Prison, My advice is stay well clear. As soon as someone can see your vulnerability due to drugs then you are at risk. There are many ready to try take advantage and ive seen many a black eye due to unpaid drugs debt.
There have also been many arguments in-cell due to cell mates not sharing the TV or hogging the remote. Patience is a big help as it can be frustrating and dealing with other inmates weird and wonderful ways. Remember, if you act out due to frustration, this will only come and haunt you later.
