Durham prison is not too far from Durham Centre, From the bus station you are looking about a 15 minute walk to Durham prison from Durham Town Centre Station.
If you are going to get a train to Durham Prison,
The station is about 25 minutes away from the prison by foot. A Taxi will cost about £5 to get you to the prison one way.
If you are going to drive to the prison, There is no car park at the prison, use either on street parking with meters or a public car park
