Lindholme Prison

HMP Lindholme is a class C prison with a capacity of 1,010. It accepts males over the age of 21 serving sentences of 4 times or over, and is positioned roughly 10 country miles from the megacity of Doncaster. The prison is built on the point of a former RAF base, which was bought from the Ministry of Defence in the 1980s. It opened as a prison in 1985.
