- ID Requirements: Visitors aged 16 or older must provide valid identification. This includes a photo ID and proof of address. The prison uses a biometric system where visitors’ fingerprints and facial photos will be taken on the first visit.
- Security Checks: Expect pat-down searches for all visitors, including children. On your first visit, your photo will be taken, and you may have your fingerprints and an eye scan taken.
Dress Code and Items to Bring
- Dress Code: Visitors must wear smart, family-friendly clothes. Prohibited items include ripped clothing, vests, low-cut tops, shorts, short dresses, sports team clothing, watches, excessive jewellery, offensive slogans, and non-religious headwear.
- Items to Bring: You can carry a small amount of money for use in the visits hall. Most personal items must be left in a locker (requires a £1 coin) or with security.
Visitor Facilities
