The Mount Prison offers visiting sessions on several days of the week. The visiting times are as follows:

• Monday to Thursday: 1:45 pm to 3:30 pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Parking Information: There is free on-site parking available for visitors, including designated spaces for Blue Badge holders.

Directions by Car:

• If using a SatNav, enter postcode HP3 0RU.
• From the M1, exit at Junction 8 and take the A4147 to Hemel Hempstead. Continue on the A4147 until it joins the A4251 at a roundabout. Follow signs to Bovingdon, and you’ll find the prison on Vauxhall Way.

Directions by Train:

• The nearest mainline station is Hemel Hempstead, approximately a 5-10 minute taxi ride from the prison.

• There is a bus service from Hemel Hempstead town centre to the prison, though this service is limited.
