HMP Standford Hill
HMP Standford Hill, forming part of the Sheppey Cluster alongside HMP Elmley and HMP Swaleside, is an open Category D prison. It first opened in 1950, with the current accommodation for prisoners built in 1986. The facility primarily houses male adult prisoners and has a capacity of 464 inmates.
Visiting Information for HMP Standford Hill
Visits to HMP Standford Hill can be booked by telephone, as there is no online booking service. The visiting hours are as follows:
- Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday: 1:45 pm to 3:45 pm
Note that visitors will not be admitted if they are more than half an hour late. The booking line (0300 060 6603) is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm. Alternatively, visits can also be booked via email at [email protected].
