Visiting hours at HMP Lancaster Farms are as follows:

  • Wednesday: 14.00 – 15.00 and 15.30 – 16.30
  • Saturday: 14.00 – 15.00 and 15.30 – 16.30

Mobile phones, cigarettes, or food and drink are not allowed in the visits hall; however, lockers are available for storage. Visitors are advised to arrive 45 minutes early for security checks and can bring £10 in change to buy refreshments at the snack bar.

To reach the prison, bus service no 18 operates between Lancaster Bus Station and the prison. If traveling by train, Lancaster Castle Railway Station is the nearest, with taxis and buses available for the onward journey.
