Getting to Lincoln Prison

Lincoln Prison is located opposite Lincoln County Hospital. The closest railway station is Lincoln Central, and the prison is a 20-minute walk from there. For public transport, use National Rail Enquiries and Traveline for local bus times. Parking is available as Pay and Display to the right and back of the prison, with Blue Badge parking at the front, which should be requested when booking a visit​​.

Dress Code for Visitors

Visitors must adhere to a specific dress code to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere. Prohibited clothing includes short/cropped tops, low-cut tops, vests, mini-skirts, shorts, see-through clothing, headwear (except for religious purposes), offensive or inappropriate clothing, ripped clothing, and articles that hinder observation by staff.
