HMP Styal
HMP Styal, established in 1962 and located in Cheshire, is a female prison with a capacity of 486 inmates. It’s known for its semi-open regime and strong staff-prisoner relationships. Visiting Information for HMP Styal
Visits to HMP Styal must be booked via telephone, as no online booking service is available. The visiting times are as follows:
- Monday to Thursday: 2pm to 4pm
- Friday: No visits
- Saturday and Sunday: 2pm to 4pm
Visitors should arrive 15 minutes before their booked time slot and must be there before 2pm to be booked in. Late arrivals, more than half an hour late, will not be admitted. The booking line is 0300 060 6512, open Monday to Friday, from 9.30am to 5pm.
