Visitors traveling by car will find ample parking space available at Highpoint Prison. Parking is generally secure and located close to the entrance. It is recommended to arrive early to secure a parking spot as spaces can be limited during peak visiting times.

To organize a visit to Highpoint Prison, you must:
- Be included in the inmate’s visitor list.
- Schedule your visit 3 to 5 days in advance.
- Carry the requisite identification during your visit.
- Have at least one visitor who is 18 or older.
- A prisoner’s visitation rights may be limited, and they are typically entitled to 2 to 4 visits a month, subject to individual privileges.
- Highpoint endeavors to offer visits that are 2 hours long, exceeding the national entitlement of one hour.
