Wandsworth Prison

What is Wandsworth Prison Like? Its a B Cat prison based in South West London. Its probably one of the largest prisons in the UK. Wandsworth has a capacity of 1562 male prisoners.

It is overcrowded, under funded, under staffed and cramped. Most prisoners are forced to share a small cell. The prison is falling apart and is not fit for purpose. The showers are dirty and most prisoners would never dare enter bare footed. The food is sparce and small portions. The bang up is excessive due to short staff and its not the most safest place to be in prison.
